Ceremony Flowers With Wow Factor

Choosing Flowers To Fit Your Ceremony

You've found the perfect partner, photographer, venue and dress. What's the missing piece to make sure your ceremony photos are incredible? Flowers! Whether it's a simple arrangement or a lush garden arch, flowers can elevate your event and add much needed color and life to your photos. They can event help cover things you'd rather not see on your wedding day, like light switch or even guests shoes and handbags. Choosing the right style of ceremony flowers can be difficult. Here are a few things to consider.

Location, Location, Location

When it comes to your ceremony, location is everything. For a gorgeous lake front or rooftop venue, a lush arch that blocks the view probably isn't the best fit. Consider what you would like to see in your photos and what your guest's view when picking ceremony flowers.

Flip The Script

Often times, floral installations can do double duty as a ceremony backdrop and as a compliment to the sweetheart or head table. If your wedding has a "flip" consider having your florist relocate your ceremony flowers to the reception so you can use them for as long as possible. In the photo below. This arch was used for the ceremony and behind the sweetheart table.

No Hidden Flowers!

One thing people often forget about before the wedding is where their wedding party is going to stand. It's important to keep that in mind when considering flowers that are closer to the ground and may be blocked from view by bridesmaids and groomsmen. This is why we always recommend a venue walk through with your wedding planner and florist to discuss details to make sure your florals are as visible as possible during your wedding.
